ACCOMMODATIONS
The Kennedy School

For a more casual option, we recommend the Kennedy School in NE Portland (just a few blocks from Kathryn & Alex's house).

Website: https://www.mcmenamins.com/ken...

Description: Since its 1915 opening, this historic elementary school has been a beloved fixture of its Northeast Portland neighborhood. McMenamins renovated the once-abandoned scholastic gem and turned it into Portland's most unique hotel. There are 57 guestrooms (some fashioned from former classrooms complete with original chalkboards), a restaurant, multiple bars, a movie theater, soaking pool, & a brewery. Extensive original artwork & historical photographs cover the walls, ceilings, and hallways.

The Nines Hotel

The Nines is a luxury hotel in downtown Portland, right by Pioneer Courthouse Square. It's also home to 2 great restaurants: Departure & Urban Farmer.

Website: https://www.thenines.com

Description: The Nines is a contemporary and stylish luxury hotel housed in a historic building, downtown. A LEED Silver Certified Hotel, it has incredible rooftop views, artwork in every room, two restaurants (that are loved by locals) and gorgeous event spaces. Browse nearby boutiques, dine in the trendy Pearl District, or use the eco-friendly MAX light rail or Street Car to explore the beautiful, lively city of Portland.

AirBnB

If you decide to book an AirBnb, note that both the ceremony & reception are located in SE Portland, but there are plenty of fun neighborhoods all over the city! You might want to try Alberta Arts District, Hawthorne, Division, or Mississippi Ave.
